Another Monday in S. Africa. Woke up this morning and had some time in the word and praying together. We totally invited the Spirit with open arms to walk with us today. We asked for an outpouring and that as disciples of His truth, we wanted to walk in the giftings. It was awesome prayer. We went to Kayamandi, our main thing for the day was to be with a group of girls, I believe I mentioned them before, they just graduated from a training in hospice care. We went out to the shacks with them to visit a couple of people. One of them was the woman who cannot walk. When we got there, she was asleep in her bed and her daughter was asleep on the dirt floor on a dirty old piece of foam. She woke up and let us in. We asked her if she wanted to go to the support group tomorrow and if she needed any food. We got her list and went on our way to let them go back to sleep. Tomorrow, I think we will take her daughter to Prokourus too so she can learn that there is a place she can go for help and clothes. She didn’t have any. Next, we went to Moses’ house. We went deep into the shacks to a house that we had been before, on our first walk thru Kayamandi. We recognized it right away because we had stopped there w/our guide who went inside and we stood in the front where there was a carcass laying on the floor and an animal skin hanging on the unfinished fence. Allison prayed at that spot. So when we returned, we were trippin’ that this was where sweet Moses’ stayed. We walked into the front area of this shack, it was just a room with a bench in it. There was 2 women sittin’ on the bench drinking beer. They smiled at us as they grabbed their 40s and hid them under the bench. Then we went through another door that led into the living quarters. The feel of the room was like the difference between night and day. This shack felt warm, it was clean and everything was in its place. The woman who had ownership came in behind us and cleared a spot for all to sit. Her name is Ana. She said that Moses (by the way his real name is Moshe), mother was asleep, but she was going to wake her up. I tell you, with everything that has led us to this particular family, being in the place where they live, it felt so right to be there at that time and that Jesus was doing something, something HUGE. It is apparent to me that we will not see the outcome, but that we were there to pray and speaks words of encouragement and life over this household. As soon as we asked if we could pray, they were so ready…Ana said, "Wait!", she went to the room where the 2 women were drinking and called them in, she wanted them to be there for prayer as too. Our time of prayer and laying hands on them was so awesome. We spoke with authority and love, we called out these women to stand and be in Christ as the women that He created them to be. We cried and hugged, we touched their faces, held there hands. Most of the five woment that were there did not speak English, but the Spirit was stirring them up. It was good. We will return tomorrow with lots of food because they had none in the home. We also will help Anna get her 2 or 3 year old granddaughter into a Krish (preschool). I want to thank all those who supported us on our trip here, things have worked out that we have more extra money than we expected because of some costs that were cut here and to have that to bless these people with the simplest of needs is such a blessing. Your hearts are here with us in S. Africa touching these people. Please pray for this family that their would be provision, wholistic provision for these guys, spiritual, physical and emotional. Also pray God to put this family on some hearts in the U.S. that would help me sponsor them.
