More Pictures
These are pics of Charlie and Yamkelya doing homework and on one of our walks. Charlie may have to stay longer than expected due to the adoption process. The government has told him that for a foreigner to adopt S. African children, one has to be on S. African soil for 2 years. Charlie applied for a 3 year visa and is hoping that they will count the time he has been here already. Please keep the adoption process in your prayers.
These outdoor pictures are of Charlie's house in Stellenbosch. The house is on a vineyard. I took pics of the house and teh road leading to the house. The dirt road is the back yard leading thru the vinyard up to a small forest of pine trees that lay at the foothill of the rock mountain you see in the background. We hiked this road, which wa all an incline and very hard for me, but worth it. Se went up the road into the pine trees. Then we turned and came down the paved road which are the next pictures.
The next picturs are the best that I can take of the inside of the house. It is a 3 bedroom with a dinning room, living room and a whole other room that goes out to the patio. There is a car port, a garage and servant living quarters behind the garage which is like a studio with a bathroom.
Well, it takes long to upload these pics and it is only a fraction of what I have. I will put as many as I can. Next, I will post some pics of the shacks of the families that we have helped her and the people who have helped us. God Bless.
